John Benedict has been in the investment industry since 
1998 where he started at American Express Financial 
Advisors. In 2007, he opened his own RIA and merged with 
John Salomon in 2010 to co-create J2 Capital Management. 
He has combined his talents and passion in statistics and 
technical analysis to create J2s tactical strategies, 
managing them since the beginning of the organization. 
John is a graduate of Central Michigan University.

His thoughts have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, 
moneyshow.com and Investment News. John Benedict in the 
past has been a member of both NAAIM (National 
Association of Active Investment Managers) and the MTA ( 
Market Technicians Association). He is a frequent 
contributor in the media discussing markets and technical 
analysis. John was a contributor in the book "The 
StockTwits Edge: 40 Actionable Trade Set-Ups from Real 
Market Pros" (Wiley Trading, July 2011).

Our in-house portfolio management team includes a lead 
portfolio manager and a research analyst. The lead 
portfolio manager has created several unique investment 
strategies that are dynamic in nature and utilize 
individual stocks or ETF's.  These strategies are offered 
to many other advisors in the area who use them as well.

Our Financial Plans are completed by our in-house CFP.  We 
give clients access to a state of the art online financial 
portal where changes can be seen in real-time. No more 
large printed plans, we make it easy for you to see your 
progress and tracking.

Our in-house team will develop your Estate Plan and will. 
More complicated trust work for business may be sent out to 
our partner network.

Our in-House CPA offers tax prep and planning to our 
financial planning clients free of charge.

J2 Capital has an in-house portfolio manager, John Benedict. John has been managing portfolios for over 15 years.  Our niche is managing dynamic risk-managed ETF and individual stock portfolios.   Most other firms outsource the money management piece.  J2 Capital has a dedicated in house staff that has their pulse on the markets for you.
